Show HN: Is your writing full of buzzwords? Find out with Buzz-Grade
- phdtree 13y agohttp://phdtree.org/ http://phdtree.org/, a Wiki project to document the academic family tree of PhDs worldwide. No buzzwords.
- quadrangle 13y agoThere's something to this but calling "grow" a buzzword is misguided. Some of the list (which anyone could just search for themselves, the list is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_buzzwords https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_buzzwords) is only in context. "Grow a business" and similar uses is buzzwordy. But don't call my writing buzzwordy because I used the word "grow" c'mon! The rest of the list is actually worth including.
- solox3 13y agoThe canonical test, then, is [the system testing itself](http://codyromano.com/buzzgrade/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FList_of_buzzwords http://codyromano.com/buzzgrade/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipe...)
- hawkharris 13y agoHaha. Thanks for your feedback. I think I will remove the word "grow" unless I can find a way to determine and judge the context in which it's used.
- ShirtlessRod 13y agoDo you have the source available for this?
- tech_consultant 13y agonice! but i think you can add these: 1. customer-obsessed 2. knowledge management 3. cloud governance practice 4. ROI 5. release cadence 6. best-practice-based policy 7. change management 8. adoption 9. virtuous cycle 10. discovery session 11. social business 12. social customer service 13. on-demand workforce 14. customer engagement economy 15. C-suite strategy
- Kudzu_Bob 13y agoBecause of this I have tripled the number of buzzwords in my business documents, thereby convincing the boss that I am a goddamn genius. My promotion takes effect tomorrow. Thanks, Buzz-Grade!
