A somewhat potent piece of hardware with basic administration and on-call-service can cost you ~200$ a month (Thats an EC2 large instance with one hour of an reasonably competent sysadmin). Thats ~2400$ a year. In the light of those numbers, I find 100$/year for a tool that eases your work with those expensive beasts reasonable.
