Ansible seems to hit this sweet spot between easy of use, flexibility, and functionality that is really great for people or organizations that are managing modest numbers of servers. Cases where Chef/Puppet would be overkill.
- julnepht 13y agoThat is the feeling I get from Ansible, its seems easier to get up and running but I wonder if it is more powerful than Puppet as you expand beyond the initial phase. I have been implementing Puppet at work and the ramp up was hardeous but I am now at a state where I can do powerful things with Puppet(ENC, Hiera, Dashboard).
