  Or my theory on the etymology of Ramen (La mian from Hokkien meaning hand-pulled noodles -> Ramyun in Korean being a loan word -> Ramen in Japanese, as borrowed from the Korean).

      Perhaps this explains the relationship between Ramen, the Mi-Go and the Flying Spaghetti Monster which also goes by the darker name of Chthulu.
