Stephan Guyenet is a phd and he also kinda poo-poos the whole "sugar and fructose are toxic" thing. The problem with fructose is just that it's so yummy to humans that its modern ubiquity causes people to overeat.
- pothibo 13y agoObviously his theory is being challenged and there might be some valid reason why it is. I'm not an expert in that field. The guy saying Lustig is "wrong" was just full of it and I called him on that.
