Um, how is this for "hackers" exactly? It's an online Markdown editor for a closed-source blogging service. Their bullet points are as follows, with my own commentary:
- Revolutionary Editor
(It's Markdown. Like what you get with Squarespace or a Wordpress plugin)
- Powerful Image Uploader
(Yes, uploading images from Instagram is VERY hackerish)
- Compatible syntax & urls
(what does this even mean?)
- Custom domains
(Like you get with virtually every other service)
- Painless import/export
(Many other services offer this, but it often doesn't work 100%. If they can
nail this, it might be interesting)
- Social integration in seconds
(You get Disqus. Wow.)
- Strong back of your garden
(Strange phrasing... and I'd expect every other service to keep backups too...)
There appears to be nothing even remotely technical or targeted towards "hackers" or otherwise technically inclined people.

- eksith 13y agoPerhaps it has something to do with the ever changing (and often diluted) definition of "hacker". It's a very in term these days.
