    Not really. Modern communication and media makes it easier to single out an individual from the flock and take them down.

      No, that really has nothing to do with it. Organizations are still rampant with the following: - yes-men, sycophants - cronyism/nepotism/favoritism - cutthroat, bad culture - etc
