One of our clients had an issue with lighttpd and OpenSSL, but that was on Debian. Turns out it was a known issue: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=622733 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=622733 You may have seen the same or related problem, since it takes a bit while for packages to come to OpenBSD. But either way, you ended up with something that worked well :)
