The "lean in" thing bothers me because the whole point seems to be to gain acceptance and approval from people with "power." I respect people a lot more who have an intrinsic internal motivation to do something great, and damn what other people think. I should add: even if that means that those people aren't as financially successful as a "lean in" person.
