What EU legislation says about the max. bike weight?
- mcv 13y agoWeight has nothing to do with it. Cargo bikes are heavier than that. But it's motorized and can go up to 65 kph, and that matters a lot.
- masklinn 13y agoNothing. UK legislation says it can't be more than 40kg (or 60 for a tricycle or tandem). 2002/24/EC does however say: * the maximum continuous rated power may not be more than 250W * assistance may be provided only while pedaling * assistance may not be provided beyond 25 km/h
