I have no dog in the os fight. I'm happy to use any of the big three (if you can count Linux among the big three ;)). I'm unlikely to be bitten by Microsoft succeeding. Quite the opposite, since they would have to create an extremely compelling experience to dig themselves out of the hole, I would probably benefit.
