- Mc_Big_G 13y agoI worked in the auto industry for 10 years and I can tell you that, before the industry crash, I knew a guy who put the owner's manual in the glove box and made over $100k/yr. This was not uncommon and the guys that worked a lot overtime were millionaires. I remember one gentleman who was 72 years old and still working 7 days a week. I can tell you a lot of stories about the automotive industry that you probably won't believe.
