There ARE people who send their kids to private school because that's the best option for their individual kids - especially if their public schools suck - but

There ARE people who send their kids to private school because that's the best option for their individual kids - especially if their public schools suck - but still do all they can to improve the public schools, whether through money, time, political advocacy, etc. If I could, I would homeschool my kids, with liberal use of supplemental outside resources.
