If you have a decent internet connection at home with reliable uptime, you can also just set up a VPN at home and connect that way. My router comes with OpenVPN

If you have a decent internet connection at home with reliable uptime, you can also just set up a VPN at home and connect that way. My router comes with OpenVPN on it, so I don't even need to have extra hardware running.
