I remember early in my HTML writing experience searching high and low for a way to define new elements with behavior defined by CSS and JS, and coming up dry. I could never articulate why I wanted it so badly, but it just felt like the way things should be done. It's incredible to see that it's finally becoming a reality, and other people are starting to flesh out the justification I never managed.
