Do you mind telling me what field is your large Haskel project in? I want to get a feeling of where Haskel is in the commercial world. Is it a finance industry product?
- thirsteh 13y agoNo, this is net tech. Crawlers, parsers, protocol implementations, web servers, cryptography. Sorry, I'm not allowed to disclose much more. Suffice it to say it's not specialized/overly mathy/abstract, and it's very similar to the kind of software the majority of HN users write. I do hope I can advertise it at some point, as the "Haskell in Industry" page is sorely lacking non-finance companies, and I'm sure there are a lot of companies out there using it.
