I agree that it is uninspiring, but from a completely different angle. I can't imagine tolerating the rudeness implied at any age, let alone after 25. This really is one of those stories that has no business on HN.

Agreed. Being polite is something you should learn around age 5. And at the same time, things like "You should learn to walk in heels" are just dumb, also at any age.
