Just about everyone here is running ad blocking software, not that display ads pay much anymore. Not that anyone will tolerate seeing an ad for the free software they're downloading. Should SourceForge charge a monthly fee to projects? To users? Perhaps SourceForge should arrange licensing deals to make white label SourceForge clones? Maybe they should just start doing consulting on the side?
