- petervandijck 13y agoThat's not interesting to any tech blog. Because 1. the googleReaderIsDead story is dead now, and 2. "A new kind of a Google Reader Alternative" is not a story anyone would want to read. If you want to be in the news, you need something newsy. Some kind of hook. If you can't find that, you're not newsy, nobody will be interested in your project and they won't write about you. Is there anything at all about the app that stands out? That would peek someone's interest? Once you identify that, you can try contacting them again. You need a pitch. In other words: HOW is it new and interesting? WHAT makes it so great?
