Is that really necessary? People didn't stop using RedHat via CentOS because upstream is a commercial product. Mainline Nginx is still available while this seems to be a value-added product with a bunch of extras.

The difference between RedHat and CentOS is basically just branding. That comparison doesn't make sense.
