I've observed that there is at least a 10x, possibly greater, difference in the caliber and culture of various organizations. So if you failed interviews at organizations A, B, and C, but are doing OK in your job at D, it doesn't imply that you would have succeeded in A, B, or C, possibly due to differences alone.
