I would like to mention that the details of this project seem a little sparse. For a truly secure solution, this system will need to (1) define a secure standard and (2) allow domain owners to personally host this system which can connect to legacy mail servers as well as the "new" secure standard. This way, when persons communicate within the same email domain and between secure systems, the communication can be considered secure. Just my 2 cents I guess. A system like this can succeed, but I think it's too early to judge.
