From what I can see, it looks like there are a series of rollers that rest on the paper, which allows the printer to pull the top sheet with little, of any, friction.
- eksith 13y agoLittle friction against the device itself, but not the other sheets beneath it. The weight of the device + completed sheets on top will add to the friction between the next sheet and those below it.
