I don't see how he can say, "Well I moved stuff to a CDN and changed hosts off of a shared server and greatly reduced my CSS file size, but surely it was the fact I changed languages that caused my page times to increase!" No, author, Go had very little to do with your page load times. Both Go and Django are going to serve a simple blog at the same speeds.
