- bhauer 13y agoIndeed! I'd like to see at least one tech titan take the mantle of personal/home servers and run with it. I recently said this was something Microsoft could do [1] to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive environment. Marginalizing home servers perpetuates an insipid consume-only Internet usage model. The Internet I'd prefer to see is one where serving and consuming are both first-class features for all.
