- homeomorphic 13y agoWho decides what that is? The Internet is a network of peers, not a network of "real hosts" serving "simply clients". Without honoring that, an ISP isn't really an ISP, is it? It's more of an "Internet client facilitator".
- pra 13y agoPlz define 'real host'. My pentium s clocked at 120MHz is a damn real host.
- mhurron 13y agoAnd how does a 15 year old kid without a credit card do that? Not everyone throwing a webpage up is 'serious' about it. Sometimes they're learning, or it's a hobby. Google is simply continuing the tradition of making sure your users consume. If they are creating, they are not spending time looking at and clicking ads.
- natch 13y agoWhen did "serious" ever enter into it? I should be able to use or play with a server on the internet connection I pay for.
