- jared314 13y agoReusing the VM terminology "host" and "guest" would have made it clear for me. Does it include a zero-copy network driver?
- polvi 13y agoOptionally, by giving the container direct access to the nic. Docker will do more iptables/veth-pair magic, but if you need direct access you can use other methods. We like systemd-nspawn, since it integrates nicely with systemd.
- gizzlon 13y agoOff topic, but what are the pros of going this route instead of bare metal or virtual machines? Don't get me wrong, it's cool to see some innovation in this space.. These made me a little bot wiser :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LXC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LXC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docker_%28Linux_container_engine%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docker_%28Linux_container_engin...
