These break not only EU law but the UK Data Protection Act. They also break a couple of laws as the data capture is non consensual. When Google did this they were investigated and condemned by privacy related groups.
Expect this not to last long at all.
- anigbrowl 13y agoI had forgotten the UK has its own data protection act, thanks for the reminder. I hope you're right, these represent everything I didn't like about the plethora of security cameras in London (part of why I no longer enjoyed living there) and multiply it by 3.
