Cue libertarian comments at government overreach, and socialist comments at libertarian excess corrupting the political system. I really don't care what your political bent is, but if you live in a developed nation it's your responsibility to try and help, not punish the poor. Why? Because someday you might be poor yourself. The economy is like that. I've met people who lived in their cars, and they don't make any trouble, keep to themselves and just want to be left alone till they get back on their feet. Why do you need to bother them? It costs you nothing to leave them alone.
