- ne0phyte 13y agoInstall GIT. Otherwise stick to downloading repos manually as zip, unpacking them and moving them manually.
- Achshar 13y agoI am willing to do that but I can'f find any instructions to where to get the repo from and where to put it.
- coldtea 13y agoIt's a requirement. Install it and be done with it.
- wbond 13y agoThat was while Package Control 2.0 was in alpha. It is no longer in alpha and no longer requires using Git to install.
- Achshar 13y agoI run the code, and it downloads the Package Control.sublime-package file alright. But the sublime won't recognize package control even when I restart it. ctrl + shift + p won't give package install or any other command.
- wbond 13y agoI recommend pasting the Sublime Text console output into a new issue at https://github.com/wbond/sublime_package_control/issues https://github.com/wbond/sublime_package_control/issues.
- Achshar 13y agoFound the problem, I tried installing it when it was alpha but didn't work out, so I reverted back to ST2. Now when I installed it again, it was suing the previous install folder. Once I deleted the install directory and the directory in user folder for windows and reinstalled from scratch, it worked. Not necessarily a bug so won't be reporting it. Thanks!
