That's a really good analogy, made me laugh out loud about the inept guy helping the girl. It was more or less just like that. These days I have a more dubious attitude, I tend not to beleive something someone says until I've confirmed it with my own eyes. I mean, I'll pay it lip-service and make all the right noises, but then I'll go sneak off and investigate for myself.
