This is exactly how I base my calculations.
Pension calculators which assume e.g. a 7% annual rate of return (with apparently no inflationary concern) are just financial propaganda.
- mathattack 13y agoWorse yet, they are push problems into the future. The pension holders can't count on the money, and the pension funders are allowed to kick the can down the road.
