- noonespecial 13y agoI'm not quite seeing that. Kobe signs a contract agreeing to play for the Lakers. Musicians sign deals to work for record companies, often for "advance" money up front and no guarantee of future payments. Its just a contract. Mutually agreed upon. I'm sure it can be structured so that the student/employee can exit the contract with a reasonable repayment plan. Are current student loans, non-dischargeable through bankruptcy really that much better?
