Just FYI "flyover" is a really horrible patronizing elitist term and should be avoided at all costs.
- beat 13y agoBelieve me, I know. I've lived in flyover country my entire life (central Illinois, Iowa, and now Minnesota).
- sheraz 13y agoC'mon -- flyover not that bad. Irksome perhaps, but not offensive.
- aaronbrethorst 13y agoI grew up in Minnesota, and lived there for 21 years, and I refer to the Midwest as such all the time.
