One of my biggest concerns around this, speaking about my own cameras would not be the case where someone has obviously dropped my body/lens and it's smashed, but where it has been dropped or treated rough and has intermittent problems. especially glass - it's high-precision stuff, and even though it may look fine, it could've been very lightly scuffed or bumped around and will never be the same. That's a really hard thing to solve.
