Simply knowing particular languages has been pointed out on sites not too far away from here as a sign of a Good Programmer. This counts as evidence to the contrary. But not absolute evedence, I guess we all still have to think for ourselves.
- Periodic 17y agoI could understand an argument that knowledge of certain languages is correlated with being a Good Programmer. This guy seems to have heard about the cool tools of the day, jumped in, and failed mostly due to a lack of experience. One great lesson of experience is that there is often a simple solution to complex problems.
