This sets an awesome legal precedent since it basically upholds journalism and the freedom of the press. However, it's a step in the same direction for whistleblower policies. I wish we could get some leadership that would recognize the value of having people who can expose injustices so they can be corrected. I read a great article yesterday that talked about the difference between Wikileaks and the NY Times. Why should they be treated differently? They're both just publishing information for people to consume.
