- westicle 13y agoI can also confirm from personal experience that many, many educated Chinese locals are not aware of this portion of their history. Even those whom I suspect may be aware of it seem to confine it to a cultural blindspot approaching wilful ignorance. It is something you simply _do not talk about_ in China.
