My favorite experience with this type of conversation was when my SG counterpart exclaimed, (with great excitement) "... and we'll pay you under the table!" Under market pay, no benefits, AND I get to screw the government? Sign me up! I'm so glad no one at the startup I'm at is even remotely like that pathological huckster.
