The article doesn't state whether she had vehicles outside the home as well, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were hauled away and sold off as well. I'm also curious about something else: If the bank claims that they aren't willing to compensate her based on the retail value of the items, were they repossessing the items based on the retail value? Surely they account for degraded value, so the bank would compensate based on the degraded value rather than full retail value.
