Because the SF people vote her in like sheep, again and again. She knows her seat is not threatened, so she'll vote in her _own_ interests.
I refuse to vote for her. I'll vote for the Republican challenger every time.
- bodyfour 13y agoOr, perhaps a little less cynically: she's the minority leader so she's expected to vote in the party's interest. When your party holds the White House that basically means supporting the administration. I don't mean this as a defense of Pelosi though. I'm also in CA-12; I usually just abstain from voting for US Rep.
