This problem can be fixed. I have done it myself with a Galaxy Nexus and a Nexus 7.
This is a trimming issue of the internal memory.
- Root the tablet (if you haven't already).
- Install lagfix (free) from the market or crosscompile fstrim and run it on your sd card.
Your tablet / phone will be fast again.
- tesmar2 13y agoThe nexus 7 doesn't have an SD slot.
- ecocentrik 13y agoV1 of the nexus 7 doesn't have an SD slot either.
- kllrnohj 13y agoThe mount point of the internal storage is /sdcard, that's probably what he meant.
- ajross 13y agoThat's not right either. On the Galaxy Nexus, there is a single /data partition. A subdirectory of this is mounted (via a FUSE gadget which enforced FAT-like semantics) for use as the "sdcard" partition, and /sdcard is a symlink to that. (It's a symlink so it can be redirected for different device users). There is no action that can be taken on an "sdcard" partition on a GNex. It has to be done on /data.
- Riesling 13y agoYes you are right. I meant, copy it on your tablet / phone.
