It's annoying enough that Techcrunch posts its own misinformed analogy on the Google outage (really, packets were only rerouted: there's no way you'd end up in Hong Kong instead of SF; the journey would just last a little longer), but worse that it makes an attempt to sensationalize by blaming an entire continent. I wonder why Techcrunch doesn't stick to its "expertise": finding and reviewing worthy new startups and applications.
