Yeah, this. Android hasn't been around long enough for people to develop the sort of attachment that some have with Apple. Nobody's grown up with Android (yet), nobody's gone through their spotty-faced advocacy phase shouting about it, nobody's had to see something they for whatever reason love on the brink of extinction. Apple has a pretty rich narrative for people to build personae around. FULL DISCLOSURE: I work at Apple, and have been an Apple fan and user since before the original Macintosh.
