I really like to read comments that start off with "Linus should do this and Linus should do that, he should be more accommodating, he should stop swearing, he shouldn't be so offensive, etc." NO! It's perfectly fine to bring up an issue like this on a mailing list, private conversation or anywhere else... What is not fine, is still beating a dead horse when Linus says that he will not change. Who do these people think they are to tell someone else to change? Seems rather arrogant and offensive, doesn't it?
