How long do we have to wait for the filing of a high-profile celebrity/corporate lawsuit over the use of trademarks or names in twitter accounts? Or has there been one already? I would think that twitter names are a bit like domain names so won't courts probably rule that twitterers will have to give up names like theRealKanyeWest or whatever?
- basscadet 18y agoTwitter accounts are certainly like domain names in that the namespace is controlled by private interests with no incentive to buck against the prevailing trends in so-called intellectual property.
