Who among us has not googled a problem, found the top hit at Stack Overflow, got our solution, and noticed also that the question was closed as not-something?
IMHO the whole thing can be handled by upvotes (as HN demonstrates, you don't even need downvotes)
- finnw 13y agoCan you give some examples? My experience has been slightly different. I have often found stackoverflow questions (closed as NC or NaRQ) from google searches and thought "This is interesting, but I would be embarrassed if my boss saw me reading it."
