I once tried this with a recruiter, and they got very testy with me in a new email, accusing me of wasting their time. ha ha ha. needless to say, I did not respond further.
- untothebreach 13y agoSame for me, except I was also accused of not knowing how to "network."
- alinajaf 13y agoI get that all the time. I politely remind them that I made a commitment to report their reply as spam, so it would be unethical of me not to. Never engage with them directly. They're a time sink, and they never have your interests at heart. I manage all comms with them through gmail canned responses.
