I do not mind people collecting data about me. I do think that we need to have a restriction that if you collect data about me, you have to share it with me. All of it. In a accessible manner, at least as accessible as you do in your reports.
Every day that you fail/delay to provide me those reports, you will pay me $100k in damages.

- ihsw 13y agoPunitive damages never stand on their own, they're always accompanied with compensatory damages. Good luck proving privacy violations directly result in loss, injury, or harm suffered -- information sharing agreements between law enforcement agencies and those interested in this information precludes any claims of negligence or recklessness.
