That's strikes me as impractical. Just because the police can enter my house for certain reasons doesn't mean everyone should have that right. Similarly, there are legitimate reasons for the government to conduct surveillance. That does not mean everyone should have the same access to that information. This route would sound the death knell for privacy far more quickly and surely than current surveillance programs ever could.
